Nonpartisan think tank gathers Ostroff and other preeminent legal experts to publish consensus commentaries on cutting-edge legal issues

MIAMI – April 8, 2022 – Meland Budwick today announced that Eric Ostroff, Managing Partner and Chair of the Trade Secrets and Intellectual Property Group, has been appointed a key leadership position within The Sedona Conference’s  Working Group on Trade Secrets. The Sedona Conference is a nonpartisan think tank that gathers the preeminent experts in varied areas of law to publish consensus commentaries on cutting-edge legal issues.

Specifically, Ostroff has been appointed to the Trade Secrets Working Group’s Steering Committee. He has been involved in this organization for several years. Most recently, he served as Drafting Team Co-Chair for “The Sedona Conference, Protecting Trade Secrets in Litigation About Them.”

And he has extensive experience prosecuting and defending trade-secret and noncompete actions nationwide. 

Ostroff received a law degree, summa cum laude, in 2004 from the University of Miami School of Law, and a bachelor’s degree in 2001 from Emory University.
