About Vishal Patel

Vishal Patel, an associate with Meland Budwick, P.A., focuses his practice on commercial litigation and also handles matters related to bankruptcy, financial frauds, and trade secrets & IP.

During law school, Vishal interned for the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, where he gained experience with the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act and Georgia laws on fraud in contract inducement.

Vishal received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where he was ranked in the Top 10 percent of his class for the Spring 2022 ILA Oral Arguments. He had his comment published in EBDJ Volume 40 and was a Notes & Comments Editor for the subsequent volume. Vishal was also selected to be a member of the W. Homer Drake, Jr. Georgia Bankruptcy American Inn of Court. He was an active member of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and Emory Law’s IP program Technological Innovation: Generating Economic Results (TI:GER).
