Meaghan Murphy has been added as an associate in the firm’s commercial litigation and bankruptcy practice groups.
Prior to joining the firm, Murphy worked since 2014 at Liebler Gonzalez & Portuondo as an associate handling all aspects of commercial litigation on behalf of nation’s largest lenders, both in prosecutorial and defensive roles. Before this, she worked since 2012 as an associate at Acosta Civil Trial Attorneys, where she was involved in all aspects of insurance defense litigation, primarily in relation to first-party property damage claims and third party bodily injury claims.
“We are pleased to add Meaghan to our firm as we continue to expand in response to increased demand for the quality legal counsel we are known to provide,” said Peter D. Russin, partner and co-founder of Meland Budwick, P.A.
Murphy received a bachelor’s degree in psychology, cum laude, from the University of Idaho, and a law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law.
