Miami | October 11, 2023 – Meland Budwick, P.A. partner Utibe I. Ikpe has been appointed to the National Bar Association Commercial Law Section’s (NBA-CLS) 2023-2024 Executive Committee.

Ikpe has been involved with the NBA since 2018, having served on committees for the BLM internship program and the women’s wellness panel. She was recently honored as a recipient of the 40 under 40 Nation’s Best Advocates Award during the NBA’s 98th Annual Convention on August 2, 2023.

In addition to her work with the NBA, Ikpe is the Second Vice-Chair of the Florida Bar Business Law Section’s Business Litigation Committee and the founder of “1960,” an informal networking community for Nigerian business lawyers. Ikpe has experience representing large and small businesses in complicated litigation disputes, including, among others, shareholder disputes, data privacy matters, and trade secret litigation. Ikpe provides invaluable strategic guidance to business clients, and she has wide-ranging experience, having litigated matters in state court, federal court, and arbitration.
