James C. Moon Recognized as a Florida Legal Awards “Unsung Hero”

 | Announcements

Meland Budwick, P.A. is pleased to announce that partner James “Jim” Moon has been recognized as an Unsung Hero by the Daily Business Review as part of its Florida Legal Awards, which honor attorneys who make significant contributions to the profession and their communities, often without seeking the spotlight.

Jim’s career reflects a deep commitment to service and justice. In addition to his complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy practice, Jim dedicates significant time to pro bono work, helping individuals facing overwhelming financial hardship obtain a fresh start through bankruptcy.

His commitment to service also extends to community efforts, including assisting Ukrainian refugees seeking to resettle in the United States.

A longtime leader in the Florida Bar’s Business Law Section and a dedicated advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, Jim’s contributions are often made behind the scenes but have a meaningful impact.
