Marianne C. Callaos is a Miami-based real estate, corporate, and transactional attorney and associate at Meland Budwick, P.A. She represents buyers, sellers, borrowers, developers, and private lenders in commercial and residential real estate transactions, including financing, acquisitions, sales, construction loans, joint ventures, condominium and HOA matters, and real estate development projects.
In addition to transactional real estate, Marianne works closely with developers in the creation of condominiums and homeowners’ associations (HOAs), providing comprehensive legal guidance from formation through governance and compliance.
Prior to joining the firm, Marianne worked at Fleitas, PLLC, where she represented purchasers, sellers, and lenders in commercial real estate transactions. Her work included drafting commercial leases and commercial and residential purchase and sale agreements in Spanish.
Marianne also worked at Markowicz International Law and Arista Law, and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Marcia G. Cooke. In her native Venezuela, Marianne was a corporate law clerk at Travieso Evans Arria Rengel & Paz, where she helped foreign corporations to invest and do business in the country. She also worked as a clerk for the legal department for the Sucre Municipality, in the PROMUJER program, supporting low-income women, including survivors of abuse, in accessing legal remedies.
