Isabella Cecilia Alonso is a Miami-based litigation attorney and associate with Meland Budwick, P.A. She represents clients in commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts, including business disputes, contract claims, and complex commercial cases.

Isabella’s work includes legal research and analysis, drafting pleadings, motions, and memoranda, and supporting clients through every phase of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial.

During law school, Isabella served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Lauren F. Louis, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Florida, where she contributed to orders, reports, and recommendations on motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss. She also interned with the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C., researching administrative law issues arising from the overruling of Chevron. 

Isabella earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she was a member of the Florida Law Review, competed on the Florida Trial Team, and served as a teaching assistant for Legal Writing I and II. She earned her B.A. in political science and economics, cum laude, from the University of Florida, where she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
