Eric Ostroff and Meaghan Murphy Shared Insights at 35th Annual Bankruptcy Skills Workshop

Miami | May 19, 2025 – Meland Budwick, P.A. partner Meaghan Murphy and managing partner Eric Ostroff participated in the 35th Annual Bankruptcy Skills Workshop, hosted by Dade Legal Aid – Put Something Back and the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida, at the University of Miami School of Law.

Ostroff participated in the panel, “Artificial Intelligence and Ethics: Emerging Issues,” which examined the evolving role of artificial intelligence in the legal field, including its adoption and the ethical considerations surrounding its use. He was joined by Tara Trevorrow, Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Mindy A. Mora, and Or Cohen-Sasson, UM Law & Technology Fellow. The panel was moderated by University of Miami Law Professor Anthony Alfieri.

Murphy moderated the panel, “Evidentiary Issues in Bankruptcy,” which explored the different ways evidence arises in bankruptcy cases, strategies for preparing for and presenting at an evidentiary hearing, and common judicial pet peeves. She was joined by panelists Katelyn Garciga, Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Scott M. Grossman; Zach Shelomith, Partner at LSS Law; and Laudy Luna, Managing Partner at CRL Law Group.
