Meland Budwick, P.A. Announces Gil Ben-Ezra Elevated to Partner and William White IV to Of Counsel
MIAMI – January 16, 2025 – Meland Budwick, P.A. announces the elevation of Gil Ben-Ezra to Partner and William White IV to Of Counsel. Since joining the firm’s commercial litigation and financial fraud practice groups in 2020, Gil has made significant contributions to the firm’s success. William joined the firm in 2021, focusing his practice on real estate and corporate law. William leverages his knowledge in the commercial real estate industry to provide excellent service to his clients in lease negotiations, refinancing, and purchase and sale agreements.
Gil has played a pivotal role in the firm’s ongoing representation of Christina Lovato, the Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee for DC Solar Solutions, Inc., helping to secure multimillion-dollar settlements, including over $22 million from national banks, over $15 million from DC Solar’s accountants, $20 million from an Am Law 100 law firm, $11.25 million from DC Solar’s accountants, and $5.75 million from NASCAR. Gil has also successfully represented a wide range of firm clients in other matters, including whistleblowers, shareholders, fiduciaries, and corporate clients. Fluent in Hebrew, Gil graduated from the University of Florida in 2012 and earned his J.D. with honors from The George Washington University Law School in 2015.
William counsels clients on a variety of legal issues associated with construction contracts and claims, construction loans, commercial real estate transactions, operating agreements for joint ventures, and developing compliance and risk-management programs. He earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 2014.
