Solomon B. Genet Appointed to Miami-Dade County Planning Advisory Board

Meland Budwick, P.A. is pleased to announce that partner Solomon B. Genet has been appointed to the Miami-Dade County Planning Advisory Board, the County’s designated Local Planning Agency and the primary advisory board to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) on matters related to planning and annexations/incorporations.

Genet was appointed by Miami-Dade County Commissioner Micky Steinberg. 

“I’m honored by the appointment and grateful to Commissioner Steinberg for the opportunity to serve,” Genet said. “I look forward to supporting the Board’s important work and contributing to the planning and development of Miami-Dade County.” 

The Planning Advisory Board meets regularly and provides recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on land use, planning policy, and related matters affecting the County’s growth and development.

Genet is Co-Chair of the firm’s Financial Fraud Group and serves as general counsel for the firm. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, corporate insolvency and bankruptcy, and financial frauds.
