Commercial Real Estate Attorney Dan Matos Joins Meland Budwick, P.A.

Meland Budwick, P.A. has expanded its Real Estate and Corporate Group with the addition of commercial real estate attorney Dan Matos as a partner.

Matos advises developers, investors, and lenders on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions involving acquisitions, development, joint ventures, financing and commercial leasing. His work has included representing syndicated lenders in a $1 billion financing for the acquisition and improvement of property in Times Square and negotiating the formation of a joint venture for a significant multifamily acquisition in Queens.

Prior to joining Meland Budwick, Matos practiced at leading national and international law firms in Miami and New York, where he represented developers,
institutional investors, and lenders in matters throughout the United States.

Matos earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School, and his B.B.A., magna cum laude, from Florida International University. He is admitted to practice in Florida and New York and is fluent in Spanish.
