James Moon Featured in Florida Bar News on the Business Law Section’s New AI Task Force

 | In the News

Bankruptcy attorney and commercial litigator James “Jim” Moon was recently featured in the Florida Bar News discussing his work as chair of the Business Law Section’s Artificial Intelligence Task Force.

In the article, Jim discussed how AI is reshaping nearly every part of legal practice, from client service to law firm business models to the questions courts and regulators are now confronting. He pointed to issues like attorney-client privilege in the age of AI-assisted document review, the future of the billable hour as AI speeds up traditional tasks, and the patchwork of state-level AI regulation now taking shape. Since its first meeting, the Task Force has launched The AI Advantage, a biweekly newsletter designed to help Business Law Section members track fast-moving developments and stay ahead of the curve.

“Everything that we do in the Business Law Section is making the environment, whether it’s in the legal sphere or in the legislation sphere, easier and better for people to actually do business and make money in Florida,” Jim said.

Jim has a national practice representing high-profile entertainers, recording artists, high-net-worth individuals, and sophisticated corporate clients, alongside a bankruptcy and commercial litigation practice handling complex Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 matters and creditors’ rights disputes.
